So, some jerk decided it would be funny to write on the walls at school. Policy says the responsible party will have to pay for the
damages. This is fair. However, policy also states that if the guilty party is not found, the school may divide the cost of repairs among
every resident of the building. This is less fair.
The bureaucrats who are in charge of the investigation are either unable, or unwilling to do all that work required to provide a safe
environment for us students. Instead of actually LOOKING for who did it, it's easier to just bill the victims of the crime. Woe betide the
perpetrator now! If I have to pay one dollar for a crime I didn't commit, when the guilty one is found, there will be blood.
