France has taken a lot of flack since WWII. From what I understand, they're mostly snoody to Americans. Who can blame them for that?
I think it's important to draw a distinction between the French from France and the French from Quebec. The France-French are fine people. They perfected wine and cheese, mimes, fashion design and so on. They also tried to sail the less respectible people of their nation off the edge of the world about 400 years ago. Unfortunately for the Anglo-Canadians Quebec was in the way.
So, usually when I complain about the "French" I mean those stupid Quebecers and their Referendums.
Does it count as racism if I hate people the same colour as me? Is there such a thing as Languageism?
