Individual Biology:

Species they can Procreate With:
No others.

Sexual Organs: Males have internal genitalia. Females have a scale flap that covers their vaginal opening. The flap is able to be
parted once the female is aroused.

Mating: Due to the strictness of the Magnuri Society men are only really allowed to have sex once they are mated. This does not
apply to the females of their species who are allowed to be promiscuous.

Mouths: Magnuri have 45 teeth in their mouths and can taste all the ranges of flavours.

Teeth: Magnuri only have two sets of teeth, or one if you're excluding baby teeth. Their teeth are all quite sharp and they have no
molars.

Hands: Magnuri have Four Fingers and thumb.

Sight: Magnuri definitely do not have the best of the species. They can see movement and most shapes but not details of any kind.
Their vision is also poor when trying to be used at a distance. One saving grace for their poor eyesight is that they can see just as
well at night as they can see during the day.

Smell: A Magnuri has a very keen sense of smell. They are renowned for their olfactory sense, even to a somewhat legendary
extent. Magnuri make excellent scouts, guards and hunters because of this, not to mention cooks.

Poison Glands: Located in the forearm, poison glands lead directly to the claws. The claws have a little reservoir that can
become empty due to manual emptying or due to scratching someone. Once it is empty the reservoir will refill with poison.

Gestation Period: Magnuri Females are pregnant for 5 months before giving birth to their young.

Offspring: 1-2 Squibs are common with a pregnancy, though 3 is highly uncommon.

Growth:

Baby (Squibs):
Squibs have short fat bodies and a large head that house their large eyes. When born their mouth is a bit more
beaked shape though the shape goes down as they get older. Their limbs are not formed yet and instead they have 'nubs' where
their legs and arms will grow from. They can sit upright thanks to their little leg nubs though to move around they wiggle around on
their bellies.

Adolescent: After 3 or 4 molts the young Magnuri will develop their limbs and look more like the adults. It is at this stage that they
become more energetic and independent. Girls will start schooling and exercise at this age. The boys are put to work helping out in
the house. After a few years they will receive their few years of schooling. Of course since their entrance into the Empire this has
changed a bit. Though the Empire can not change laws and rules in any species' Home Land, they can ensure that fairness and
rights are honoured in their own cities.

Adult: By the time they reach adulthood the Magnuri will have received all the training and schooling they would require. Magnuri
just cannot fathom any sort of adult education or re-training. Once you commit to a profession or home life that’s it. Of course by this
age they have finished all their growing.

Elder: By the time a Magnuri enters the elder stages they become a leader and adviser for their families house. Some elders
become shaman so they can heal and give wisdom to the young. Others become teachers and trainers. The other thing a Magnuri
can do is head into the wilderness to live off the land like their ancestors and face their death with dignity and honour. This option is
usually chosen by a Magnuri that may not have a house or large family. They have nothing to give the younger generation and so
head out. Records are sketchy but most believe that this is a VERY rare occurrence. Also a lot of the stigma and rigid rules apply
less to the elders, so some Magnuri just have fun with the winter of their lives.

Social Structure: Matriarchal. Women are allowed to have as many husbands as they can afford. Still 1 – 2 husbands is the norm.
Any more than 6 husbands is considered excess.

Dwellings: Magnuri live in the jungles and marshes in the south. Most of their homes are made from the surrounding environment.
Huts made from skins and wood are the traditional houses. In the main city most of the larger buildings are similar to ancient, or
step pyramids.

Language: Magnurian is a very difficult language, mostly because it's object/subject/noun order is contrary to most of the other
languages. Also the words tend to bleed together when heard. Some linguist still have a hard time picking out individual words
from spoken sentences. Only Bluidons can really learn this language without learning it at childhood.

Religion: The religion of the Magnuri is mostly one of spirits and ancestors. The Magnuri believe that their ancestors pass on in
the after life to watch over their brethren. They believe that these spirits can govern the lives and fortunes of the living. So proper
methods of thanking and revering the spirits must be made in order to gain their favour. Of course the shamans help in aiding the
rituals and other things like that. And of course the head shaman is the leader of the Magnuri people.

Inter species Relations:

Magnuri hate everyone who isn't them.

To be more specific. The Magnuri have never trusted any other race and even revile the very idea of there being other ones. They
have always had a hard time relating to the other peoples and don't really like trading or diplomacy with the other races. After the
war, with the shame of what they did behind them the Magnuri seek to gain some sort of redemption. The culture is split into two
halves. One that wants to stay in the homeland and not make any contact with anyone else, while the other halve that bears the
shame of the past and wants to be a part of the Empire. They seek to prove themselves to everyone else.
